Biography
Dr. J. Ramakrishnan is a retired Librarian of the Tamil Nadu Dr. M.G.R. Medical University with 31 years of experience. He has also worked as a Librarian at Hindustan Institute of Engineering Technology, Chennai and Soundarajaja Vidyalaya, Dindugal, and as a Graduate Trainee at the Council of Scientific and Industrial Research, Madras Complex. He holds degrees in Library and Information Science from Madras University and was awarded a Ph.D. for his research on scientometric analysis of literature on hepatitis based on bibliographic databases. He has published more than 90 articles, in reputed journals, and is a life member of the Madras Library Association and Medical Library Association of India.
