Purpose: To define the circumstances in which VETRI programme fees are refundable, non-refundable, transferable or eligible for adjustment.
1. General Policy
Programme fees paid for VETRI programmes are non-refundable and non-transferable, except in the specific circumstance of cancellation of a programme by VETRI.
Participants are advised to review the programme details, schedule, venue, eligibility and fee before completing registration and payment.
2. Participant-Initiated Cancellation
• Once registration has been successfully completed and payment has been made, cancellation requests from participants will not be accepted.
• No refund will be provided where a participant changes their mind, becomes unavailable to attend, is unable to obtain leave or permission from their organisation, has a change in personal or professional circumstances, is unable to travel to the venue, fails to attend the programme, or attends only part of the programme.
3. No Carry-Forward or Credit
• The amount paid will not be refunded.
• The amount will not be converted into credit.
• The amount will not be adjusted against another VETRI programme.
• The amount will not be carried forward to a future programme.
• The registration fee will not be transferred to another participant unless VETRI expressly permits such transfer in writing.
4. Cancellation by VETRI
If VETRI cancels a programme due to unforeseen circumstances or other circumstances determined by VETRI, the registered participant will be eligible for a refund of the programme fee paid for the cancelled programme.
The refund process, timeline and mode of refund will be communicated by VETRI.
5. Postponement by VETRI
If a programme is postponed and rescheduled, VETRI may retain the participant's registration for the rescheduled programme. The applicable arrangement will be communicated to registered participants.
6. Refund Processing
Where a refund is approved by VETRI, it will be processed through the applicable payment/refund mechanism and within the reasonable processing period communicated by VETRI.
7. Finality
Except where a refund is specifically provided under this policy or required under applicable law, programme fees once paid will be treated as non-refundable.
